Ruth Humphreys, Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron, UK'It gives a nice overview of the industry in a fun modern way ... I think this will get students jazzed up about being in the department.'
Suzanne Cotton, Columbus College of Art and Design, USA'This book contains excellent examples of the fashion design cycle and its uses in the fashion industry. It is also up-to-date unlike other fashion design books.'
Lyndsey Kemp, Hull College, UK'Very positive reaction! Most useful to support our teaching program. It is realistic and upholds organised thinking/planning while encouraging creative practice ... The ethics section ends it most challengingly.'
Joan Murray, Craven College, UK'Relevant to the Fashion Promotion course I teach, as it has an introduction to fabric and fibres, how a fashion studio works, and has a progression through to branding. It gives an overview of the fashion market and how it works ... The clarity of the photographs and illustrations would be an appeal to students.'
Jules Findley, UCA, Epsom, UK'Great book, very current, attractive and appealing.'
Elizabeth Williams, Columbia College, USA'I love it. My colleagues love it as well. Great up-to-date photographs. Easy to enjoy. Beautiful.'
